MILESTONES


April 1987 -- Channel Productions releases Piano Reflections by Kelly Yost, recorded in Sun Valley, Idaho.

August 1989 -- 40,000 copies of Piano Reflections have been sold.

November 1990 -- The 100,000th copy of Piano Reflections is sold.

September 1991 -- Kelly's fans cheer as she releases her second recording, Quiet Colors.

November 1991 -- "Gymnopedie II" from Piano Reflections is selected for "Lights Out III," a compilation CD from KINK-FM of Portland, Oregon.

April 1992 -- Kelly is featured artist for a week's worth of programs on KMFA's "Around Austin" radio show in Austin, Texas.

August 1992 -- Channel Productions moves from its 1,300-square-foot offices to 6,200-square-foot headquarters. The new building includes administrative, sales, and distribution facilities, as well as a custom-designed recording studio.

October 1992 -- Channel Productions expands its artist roster with the release of Walk With Me by renowned Canadian composer Hagood Hardy.

March 1993 -- Total sales of Piano Reflections and Quiet Colors reach the quarter-million mark when the Little Professor Book Center in Holland, Ohio, orders the 250,000th Kelly Yost record. Piano Reflections is selected to appear in the "Wireless" catalog for friends and fans of public radio.

July 1993 -- Anne, a compilation of soundtracks from "Anne of Green Gables" and "Anne of Avonlea," as seen on PBS and Disney, is released for the first time in the U.S. (Album and Cassette no longer available.)

May 1994 -- Anne is named a finalist in the Best Soundtrack category for the National Association of Independent Record Distributors and Manufacturers' "Indie" awards.

September 1994 -- Channel Productions welcomes the classical guitar duo of Mark Small and Robert Torres to the label with the release of The Water is Wide.

March 1995 -- The 300,000th copy of Kelly's two recordings, Piano Reflections and Quiet Colors, is shipped.

February 1996 -- Hagood Hardy's My Song, a compilation from three of his Canadian albums, is released in the United States.

March 1996 -- Channel Productions begins receiving calls from readers of Sarah Ban Breathnach's bestselling "Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy." In it, Breathnach recommended Piano Reflections as a "Joyful Simplicity" for the month of August, touting the "profound healing power" of Kelly's playing.

September 1996 -- Roses & Solitude, Kelly Yost's third recording, is released.

September 1998 -- Still...Still...Still, Kelly Yost's Christmas album is released.

September 1999 -- Kelly Yost acquires sole ownership of Channel Productions.

August 2001 -- "Nocturne No. 1" by John Field, from Piano Reflections, is synchronized with Japanese documentary film "Gaia Symphony No. IV," in a segment featuring Jane Goodall.

November 2001 -- Victor Entertainment of Japan releases the soundtrack album from "Gaia Symphony No. IV."

April 2002 -- Channel Productions marks its 15th anniversary with sales of over 510,000 albums.

April 2002 -- Japanese record label, RASA Point inc., releases Kelly Yost album in Japan, titled Brand New Feel.

May 2002 -- Kelly travels to Tokyo, Japan, for interviews with "CD Journal", "Original Confidence" (Japan's "Billboard"), and new age and environment magazine "Anemone." She also performs and interviews with TV station TBS, Tokyo Broadcasting System.

July 2003 -- RASA Point, Inc. releases Kelly Yost Album in Japan, titled Dreams.

August 2004 -- Two tracks from Piano Reflections are synchonized with "Gaia Symphony V," released in Japan.

2007 -- Kelly Yost is featured in "Gaia Sympnony VI", a Japanese documentary released April 28 in Tokyo.

2010 -- One track from Piano Reflections was synchronized with "Gaia Symphony VII," released in Japan.

NOTE -- These tracks are released on flim Soundtrack Albums in Japan.

July 2010 -- Channel Productions no longer distributes Haygood Hardy and Small/Torres Albums.
